As they continue to search for the best fit at the starting power forward spot, the Pistons are now using Jason Maxiell at the position. Austin Daye, a natural small forward, had been starting but is much better suited for a reserve spot on the perimeter.

Injured forward Jonas Jerebko, who started at power forward last year in Detroit, is expected to be immediately reinserted into the starting five once he returns. He's hoping to return sometime after the holidays.

Last week, Pistons point guard Rodney Stuckey was bebcged for 1 1/2 games after he ignored John Kuester, Pistons Head Coach, on multiple occasions.

Since then, Stuckey has been reinserted into the team's starting backcourt. Also returning to the starting lineup is Rip Hamilton, who had missed time due to injury. Ben Gordon, Hamilton's backup, had been playing well in his place but has once again returned to a reserve role.

Kuester's still working towards establishing a set rotation amongst his guards, which also includes backup point guard Will Bynum, who is also returning from injury.
