Free agent swingman Tracy McGrady has agreed to sign with the Pistons. As expected, his contract is a one-year deal worth the NBA league minimum.
McGrady, once one of the league's top scorers, has spent the past few years recovering from various injuries. He's expected to play a reserve role in Detroit, though the team is likely to continue working on potential trades involving either Rip Hamilton and/or Tayshaun Prince to create more minutes for McGrady and the Pistons' younger players at shooting guard and small forward.
