The Pistons have reportedly contacted free agent center Earl Barron. Detroit, already at the 15-player roster limit, would likely sign Barron to a non-guaranteed deal.
Surprisingly, Barron has yet to secure a guaranteed contract. He averaged 11.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in seven games last season with the New York Knicks.
